Moving away from home to go to school is always scary at first. Little did I know I would be creating a new home for myself within a few days. I moved to Waterloo to attend Wilfrid Laurier University in the Kinesiology program. My roommates in first year included 2 exchange students from Australia and we were able to grow accustomed to a new lifestyle together.
I earned a part-time job within the athletics department for the university which, throughout the course of my university career, became one of the most important parts of my life and the place I met most of my closest friends. The athletics website is still my homepage today, despite graduating from the school this past April. The website can be found below:
